Joy Ruhigisha Gihana, Founder and CEO of Family Life and Beyond holds a Bachelors degree in Legal Laws (LLB) and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology. Over the years, she has supported hundreds of clients in need of family and mental health therapy and also teaches in the faculty of Health Sciences at Norquest College in Edmonton. She is happily married to her best friend Lucky Gihana and have been blessed with 3 beautiful kids. She’s a proudly Rwandan-Canadian. Born in Uganda, grew up in Rwanda and currently residing in Canada for the last 12 years.
When she is not working, she likes to spend time volunteering in her community and church. She also loves to spend time with family and friends, loves traveling, reading and swimming.
