Self Confidence builds your inner love!2 min read

Self Confidence is an attitude about your skills and abilities. It means  you accept  and trust  yourself  and have a sense of control over your life, you know your strengths and weakness well  and have  a positive  view of yourself. You set realistic expectations and goals, communicate assertively and can handle criticism.

I remember when I was growing up, I lacked confidence and it was because I lived with people that thought a child who expresses themselves was a disrespectful one, so this made me be quiet the whole time I needed to say something. This took away my confidence and  I felt inferior to any person even a stranger.

Time came for me and had my babies (Hailey & James) I looked back to my childhood moments and I made sure not to shout at them, talk to them, give them a right to make decisions in our home and this has really made me boost up my confidence too because it developed after I had offered it to my offsprings.

Confidence will make you discover yourself to the extent that you will select which kind of people you will associate with and also choose the ones you don’t wish to.

Because my parents were separated and they were civil servants, I didn’t get a chance to be raised by any of them. So most of my early years I was living with relatives who had kids my age.

This was a turning point for me where even the kids there knew I was given help to stay with them and bullying was among the gestures I observed from them, they knew I needed them and I had no other options which ruined my life but the only way to ignore them was to relate with home workers (maids, gatemen) and God the only friend of friendless. I made sure the only way to impress my guardians was to work hard in school and also try to help out on house chores which changed their mind when they were providing for me.

Not to over lament I went through hell but God gave me kids that made me discover my confidence because I offered it to them and in the end I became a very confident mother who has confident babies.

OH CONFIDENCE IS THE BEST GIFT ANYONE SHOULD HAVE.
