At just 10 years old, our guest faced unspeakable horrors at the hands of a genocide perpetrator. Her journey through enslavement, rape, and HIV/AIDS only grew more harrowing. Forced to return to Rwanda for safety, she encountered more pain at 15 – raped and impregnated by her adoptive father, and shunned for being HIV positive and with child by her biological mother. Despite it all, she found the courage to forgive those who wronged her and embrace life anew. Yet another story of resilience, forgiveness, and the enduring power of the human spirit.
